World Snake Day
Human minds are filled with several misconceptions and superstitions about snakes, just because people die of snake bites every day. Though only 10 percent snakes are venomous, everywhere people consider snakes as their enemy and kill them. The need of the hour is to save these important species from being extinct as they play a key -role to maintain the ecological balance. In order to create awareness on snakes among the people, World Sanke Day is observed on 16th July Every Year. Little Adityans of LKG- UKG observed this day with enthusiasm and zeal!. They created colorful paper-snakes and displayed them happily.
