Principal’s Message

It is indeed a great honour and privilege for me to be a part of ABPS Bhubaneswar. I thank Dr. S. Ganguli, Group Advisor-Education for believing in me and entrusting the responsibility to lead the school.

The ABPS Bhubaneswar is undoubtedly a great gift of the Aditya Birla Group to the people of Odisha. The school is well-equipped with modern laboratories, library, audio-visual hall, amphitheater, and sports complex. The picturesque site and blossoming green environment make our campus, free from pollution. With committed and competent faculty, the school has been imparting quality education to the children and preparing them for various state and national level competitions.

Educating a child is no doubt an onerous task both for the parents at home and teachers in the school. In spite of the task being difficult the process is replete with joyous moments which gives happiness and makes one proud.

We welcome you and your child to ABPS Bhubaneswar and look forward to a partnership in enabling your child to be a good human being.

Remember what PARENT stands for:
Partner : Be there for your child & his teacher. Help your child to prepare for school at home and keep abreast of school events.
Advocate : Work for change in the classroom if you’re unhappy with the staff or the curriculum.
Resource : Help your child to learn. Believe them. Remember, toddlers and pre-schoolers live in a self – centred world. They want to do what they want to do when they want to do it.
Encourager : Support your child and his/her teacher. Complement jobs well done.
Negotiator : Be willing to talk. Be open to find innovative solutions.
Team Member : Spend time with your child. Teachers can’t fix everything themselves. A child’s education takes place at home, too.
Create opportunities for children to explore different behaviors. Criticism or negative inputs make children feel rejected or dejected and do not motivate them to improve.

Your child will thrive in school if you can create a “Circle of Support” that includes the three of you (Your Child, His/her Teacher, and You). The most freely information flows back and forth between home and school, the better your child will feel about learning.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any queries or concerns. We stay connected on mobile phone and e-mail on all working days.

Thank you,

With warm regards,
Mr Laxminarayan Dash
