Gandhi Jayanti Observation

The Man who won millions of hearts with truth and non-violence, who defined freedom in a new way, who re-established the age old tradition of selfless services on a macro level, is none other than ‘the father of the nation’, Mahatma Gandhi. It is with great pride that we remember Gandhi Ji, the ideals which he nurtured, the ideology which he propagated, the sense of freedom which he ignited.

ABPS Bhubaneswar observed the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October with great charm. Principal, Vice Principal, Administrative Officer, Teachers and Support staff paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi which was followed by a rendition of Bhajans presented by the Music Department. This was followed by a documentary on the life of Mahatma Gandhi.
The Principal in her address highlighted the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi.

Students also actively participated in various activities conducted on that day. The students of Primary and middle school performed solo acting, Bhajans and played instrumental music while the students of secondary and higher secondary sections delivered speeches, presented slides, performed solo acting and Bhajans. Students enthusiastically participated in the Quiz on Gandhi Ji and Collage and Abstract Art workshop.
